Martie of Ament Metaalbewerking connects up the hydraulics to a temporary pumping system to confirm the wheelhouse raises and lowers as it should. Other than some squeaking which will be cured with nylon bushings, all goes well.

The front and rear screens must be lowered first to make this operation work. They are temporarily supported as Jan Ament, Dick Pouw and Alan devised a metal sliding system which helped raise and lower them in unison with the wheelhouse.
